Since we started in 2001 the business has grown from a garden waste composting business based near Aberdeen to a national organics waste management company. We received a £2.2m investment from the Business Growth Fund in 2015 and have expanded operations across Scotland and England, and acquired an eight-acre site in Linwood, near Glasgow. Since this expansion, we have become the largest food and garden recycling business in Scotland and now collect throughout the UK.
What we do
Waste as a resource
By recycling food and garden waste we are able to extract further economic and environmental value from it rather than it being sent to landfill. The goal is to replace the current largely linear economy of ‘take, make and dispose’ with one in which resources circulate at high value, avoiding or reducing the need for virgin resources. This ‘circular economy’ approach helps drive greater resource productivity and positions the UK to better address emerging resource scarcity issues in the future.
Where we are
In 2018, we began collecting food waste in England and we aim to have full national coverage by the end of 2021. Our services are quickly expanding, and if you are unsure if we cover your area, don't hesitate to ask. And if we don't already, we will soon!
Our main office is situated in Aberdeen, Scotland, where our sales and collections team work, to supply you with all the information you need about the services we can provide, to help your business or organisation. Each depot has their own team of drivers, with supervisors for different areas, that are tasked with collecting your food waste. Find out more about the team that help the company run at its best!
